Keys is a workspace for a USB MIDI keyboard on Windows. Per its README, it is local-first: the practice history lives in a SQLite file the user owns, and the app has no account and no telemetry. The README also lists about 190 instruments, splits and layers, a loop station, sheet music and statistics about what the player actually plays.

The frontend, as the README describes it, has no build step and no dependencies. The repository lists fifteen releases, from v0.3.0 to v0.8.3, as of the day this entry was checked.

The one network exception in the README is a backing track, which loads YouTube’s player only when the user asks for it.

Licence: MIT, as named in the repository’s LICENSE file.
